We're building the restaurant system we wished existed.
Most restaurant software forces you into a closed world — their hardware, their payment terminals, their way of doing things. We think that's backwards.
The Problem We Saw
Restaurants across Europe are stuck between two bad options: expensive, inflexible POS systems that lock you into proprietary hardware, or stitching together a dozen disconnected tools that don't talk to each other.
Orders come in from Uber Eats on one tablet, Wolt on another, walk-ins on a third. The card terminal doesn't sync with the register. The booking system lives on a sticky note. Every month, a new compliance requirement.
We started BonAppIT because we believed restaurant technology should work like restaurants do — flexibly, practically, and without unnecessary friction.
Our Approach
BonAppIT is a single system that connects to the tools you already own. Your SumUp terminal, your Epson printer, your Uber Eats account, your booking system — they all feed into one dashboard.
It runs in the browser, so there's no special hardware to buy. An iPad, a laptop, even a phone. We handle the entire setup: connecting your payment terminals, building your branded ordering site, integrating your delivery platforms. You tell us what you use, and we make it work.
When you need something we don't support yet — a regional payment method, a niche booking tool, a specific cash register — we build the integration. That's not a roadmap promise. It's what we do.
What We Believe
Modular by Default
Every restaurant is different. Our system adapts to yours — not the other way around. Pick the pieces you need, connect the tools you already use.
Open, Not Locked In
No proprietary hardware, no long-term contracts. Your data is yours. If you ever want to leave, we help you export everything.
Concierge Setup
We don't hand you a manual and wish you luck. We configure everything, connect your tools, and make sure it works before you go live.
Built for Europe
KassenSichV, TSE, GDPR — compliance isn't an afterthought. It's baked in from day one, with hosting in Europe and ongoing regulatory updates.
